Taxes in Europe are higher than in the U.S. However, although taxes are lower in the U.S., most citizens of the U.S. are unaware of this and complain about the high taxes that they think they pay. Is the total burden on the U.S. economy (from taxes and from all of the complaining about taxes) more or less than the tax burden in European countries with higher taxes but less complaining, such as Denmark?
