..."explain away" all suffering? Seems like any problem which plagues humans: sickness, cancer, hardship-xyz, is conveniently attributed to "the fall of man", as a friend of mine pointed out. An all-encompassing answer, a "quick excuse", if you will.
 
The fall of Adam and Eve doesn't explain anything. The real question is why was there was a large tree with fruit upon it that conveniently held the fruit of knowledge? What was God trying to prove? It's like setting humans up for failure. Think for yourself.
