Is the Sony ericsson a good phone for web browsing?

I have the Sony Ericsson Satio which is like made for browsing. The 3G signal on it is apsolutly shit!
liturally very weak 3g pickup compared to the iPhone. The HTC is also made for internet browsing and i assume its better.

So get the HTC hero!
 
Hi all, I am thinking of buying this phone (although im still also considering the HTC Hero) however I read in a few forums people saying it is not good at all for web browsing, some have even said that it is not technically a 3G phone. This will be an important feature for me so any help will be much appreciated
