Is the Sony car stereo SON CDXGT420IP Compatible with a 2001 Mazda 626?

I need a new stereo and i was wondering if there was anything that would cause this stereo to not work? Are they all standard? size and everything?
 
There's really nothing stopping you from using that head unit. The only thing other than the unit that you would need is a harness adapter and/or an installation kit. And yes, most of them are pretty much standard. The only real difference is the depth.
