Is the signal reception in nokia 6600i slide phone really bad ?

Am planning to buy the nokia 6600i slide phone.. And as far i have read the user reviews.. Nearly 7/10 say that the signal reception is bad.. But all who complained were from abroad.. So i want some Indian user reviews ... Also whether it is advisable to go for this phone ? Kindly advise and give a review pals... Ashwin
