is the samsung gravity a good phone? (t-mobile)?

I'm gonna get it.. But is it a good phone? I don't care about the battery. I'll just charge it everyday! I'll probably only use it for texting.. So is it a good phone? If you have it please tell me about it!! And i know about the noise it makes when you text on it! I have the samsung t349 (similar to the gravity)
