you get kevin martin a good young player as your go to scorer which the rockets need, jordan hill could be useful to the rockets and gives them much need size, jerread jefferies could be useful, but the 2 first round picks could make this deal, if the knicks flop in getting free agents this summer they could end up getting a high pick which the rockets could end up flipping and a 2012 pick, the rockets hands down won this trade, they got their needs, your opnions

No he is not

Carl Landry was a great defender and rebounder downlow and was having a great year. I think the Kings got the better

Kevin Martin is a scorer that can't play any defense.

Kings won the deal

lol, no....

Kings won the trade. They just got Carl Landry(one of the best closers in nba history)
and they also got larry hughes. He has a bad attitude(just like z-randouoh) but can drop 16 ppg a game.

Everybody got what they wanted. I'm sure that the Knicks didn't want to give up their draft picks, but if they didn't, then they would only be able to sign one free agent. So they had to suck it up and throw them in, or else Houston never would have accepted.

The Rockets got what they needed. A PURE 2 guard that they havn't had in a while. They can help develop Jordan Hill into a nice young player, he just needs to be aggressive and he will be okay. We get Jared Jeffries who really isn't going to get that much minutes, but he is long and he can help Battier. I just don't see how he can fit into Houston's rotation unless he plays REALLY well. Chase Budinger will definetly be taking minutes away from Jeffries. We also get 2 future draft picks. Let's just hope the Knicks flop and they can't sign the top two free agents. That's two extra lottery picks. And the Rockets are wizards when drafting. I mean, they got Aaron Brooks, Chase Budinger, Yao, Hayes, Taylor, and Carl Landry just by the draft.

Sacramento got Carl Landry. That's all I have to say. He was well on his way to becomming the 6th man of the year and maybe even the most improved player of the year awards. He will become a starter and get a lot more minutes that he would have in Houston. If he doesn't like it there, he will become a free agent at the end of this season. They got rid of Kevin Martin because they wanted to build the team around Tyreke Evans, so it wasn't a bad trade for them either.

Every team got what they needed. We're all winners!
