Is the points system not giving users enough encouragement ?

Would it not be better if there were 10 levels so that the gap between levels less giving users more initiative. Example after reaching level 5 there are no more advantages and for user to have to get 2500 points to get to level 6 is too much. Anyone agree ?
 
points?where is your head? I thought this was the opportunity to express some of your feelings about anything that might upset or cause concern about world matters.
 
It encourages some to point game for the worthless points.
They can make 100 levels if they want,I'll get there when I get there.
The longest stretch is between 6 and 7.
