Long story short my Blackberry crapped out 6 months before my Verizon contract is up and now I need to find a cheap "temporary" phone that will hold me over until I can purchase a new Blackberry or Droid without spending $500+. I need a phone mostly for texting and light internet surfing.
I can pick up a Treo 700 on eBay for about $60 - will purchasing this phone take care of my needs temporarily even though it is a 5+ year old phone or is this phone completely obsolete and outdated?
