Is the Nirvana song "Lounge Act" a cover?

Lounge act isn't a cover....unless someone did a cover of the song that Nirvana wrote.
 
Nope. It is not. It's just heavily influenced by The Pixies and The Smithereens (kinda alt. pop-ie)
