Is the NFL bringing football to Europe another way America is forcing its culture...

...on the world? I got into a discussion with a friend after I told her about the NFL game they're playing in London this week.
I figure the NFL is just expanding their market but she sees culture more wrapped up in some sports. American Football is a very American sport, but I don't see this as forcing culture.
I'm just looking at educated opinions on the subject.

Short "yes/no" answers are not helpful.

Could new answers please tell me where you're from. The argument seems to be pinned on the fact that americans wouldn't see it as forcing culture, but Europians might.
 
Im not oppossed to giving Europians some pre-season games but season ticket holders and loyal fans need to see 8 home season games not 7. Soccer is their game football is ours.
