Is the new Acura RL a good car?

It is a great car. However, I would urge you to at least test drive a Lincoln MKS and/or Cadillac STS before you make the leap. RL performance is comparable to the MKS, but the STS is faster whether you opt for the direct-injection 3.6-liter V6 or the V8. All are reliable, dependable, and safe. Good luck with the search.
 
Yes, it is a good car. but it's the one and only Acura I don't care for. That thing needs a V8 and simple rear drive system to compete with Lexus, Infiniti, BMW, Mercedes and the others. Look at the Infinti M35 or M45 before you look at the RL.
