Is the N95 THE most anticipated phone ever ?

I don't recall any phone being as eagerly awaited.
But that may have as much to do with being subscribed to a phone forum for less than a year as anything else.
Shoot - a year ago, I could write everything I knew about phones on the back of a SIM-card.
Now of course, I'm a total expert
I must admit, the N95 is a phone I'm actually considering buying as soon as it appears ... and I'm a wiley, late adopter.
I'm sure I'll be cured of this madness once I see what it retails for - but there's no law against dreaming (is there ?), not even wet dreams.
Hell, I just want it for the effing camera - I soooh miss my SE w800i-cam (particularly the LED - excellent torch).

I think the 6230 was the most eagerly awaited Nokia, but as far as S60, this might be it.

I think it depends on where you are and who you are. Near me, everyone is waiting for the iphone and most have likely never heard of the N95. This can only be expected with Nokia's US presence being what it is...

That was up there as well but I think to qualify it's got to be a phone that went fairly mainstream....of course that almost excludes my 8801!

I'll second the 6230 as the most anticipated S40. As for S60, I don't know. I remember when the 6620 was freakin hot topic.

Yeah...forgot about that one...that was huge for sure! I remember I was pretty hyped about the original N-gage as well....that could be tossed in the mix for Symbians. I think S40's going to win out on this one as it's always been the more affordable of the 2. N95 is certainly up their as far as hype but how many will actually buy it.

8890 was my most anticipated phone bar none and the single greatest phone I have ever owned and Used. I only wish I could send it to Nokia so they could fit it with the 850 antenna as I miss using it to this day.
