Is the mp5 ever used outdoors?

i know the mp5 is a close quarters machine gun. but can it be used outdoors for close or long range combat

as long as it's close range it could be applied

Yes. It is still one of the worlds most popular SMGs and I've scene many pictures with private security or mercenary groups using them maybe just because they can be easily taken in and our of a car. It wouldn't be used for long rang since pistol rounds are generally not very effective at longer ranges so probably just up to like 100 yards.
