I constantly hear people complain about a 'liberal bias' in the media, and while I think it's certainly true for some things (the overwhelmingly positive press for Barack Obama when he was still a relative unknown, for example) for others I think they're generally fair, especially a network like, say CNN. On the other side of things you have Fox News which, in my opinion, is guilty of doctoring the news to appeal only to conservatives (if you don't believe me, go here:http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=A3BD2524FE99BD4D and at least try to watch some of the videos with an open mind), such as literally editing jokes made by Jon Stewart to make it seem like he's making fun of Obama, and the horrifically bad obituary they gave to Kurt Vonnegut. From the other side, MSNBC is obviously very pro-liberal, with shows such as Countdown with Keith Olbermann and Hardball with Chris Matthews, but, contrary to popular belief, they have conservatives on often, most notably Joe Scarborough who hosts a show in the morning called "Morning Joe." Isn't it possible that the conservative movement doesn't get as much positive press simply because it's become a marginalized set of ideologies that appeal only to a select group of people? Please don't bash me for this as I'm not insulting conservatives. I'm just curious what people think.
