In my local newspaper, 60% of people thought the swine flu wasn't going to become a dangerous epidemic. People have been making jokes about it all over the internet and not taking it seriously.
All of a sudden today, I notice the coverage has been drawn back CONSIDERABLY. Apparently, an ice shelf the size of New York City and an Obama press conference have become more important, along with the Craigslist killer's sexual preferences.
I see it's still being covered on CNN and Fox, but they've kind of got the second-rate people doing it. I don't think we'll be hearing about it tomorrow.
