Oceanside? I'm trying to get my travel details together for my bf's graduation next month and am getting SO confused about everything. IDK weather to fly into the airport in Carlsbad or the San Diego Airport, or where to get a hotel at.

The graduation will be at MCRD San Diego. I assume you are talking about graduation from boot camp, correct? If that is the case, fly into Lindberg Field in San Diego. MCRD San Diego is separated from the airport by a single chain link fence. You can see your boy friend's stomping grounds for at least 9 weeks as you land. Book a hotel close to the San Diego Airport (Lindberg Field) as possible and you will be golden.
