is the kawasaki kx125 a good bike ?

i have been offered to trade a car worth 1800.00 for the kawasaki kx125 plus 500.00 dollars is this a good deal ...is this a good bike ...i have never riden a motorcycle but i would love to try it out .....thanks
the bike is a 2002
 
the new kawasaki bikes are really good bikes, they are light, and they are constructed with high technology but that fact makes the bike really delicate and you have to send it to maintenance a lot (almost every time you ride), this doesnt mean it is a bad bike. That bikes are made for competition not for road or a high usage at enduro so if you are going to use this bike on the road,dont try it
 
Kawasakis suck. They are built like crap and dont hold value well. Find a Honda, Yamaha, or Suzuki. Anything but a Kawi.
