is the jeep cherokee a good off-roader?

i have a jeep cherokee 2004 2.5 sport petrol are they a good off-roader and why also are they any good at towing
 
there average nothng special but they aren't the worst about they dont have high enough ground clearance for the proper off roading circuits but as far as a multi purpose vehicle goes there one of the better ones, as for towing the new model like yours is much better than the old as it has a coils spring rear axle
 
The "JEEP" is the Original, i have for recreational purposes a "WRANGLER" there is no equal, it's the two and a half litre manual with no mod's.............an automatic could be better,
 
Many urban 4x4's are no good at true off road, due to the gear box and axle set up.
The only true off roader is the original Land Rover.
