It's only day 3 in the treatment process. So far I've lost 2 fish due to this ick. Now today I think I'll lose my third. One of my female cherry barbs is just COVERED in these white spots. Now she won't eat or move much. Just like the other two fish that died.
I'm putting in 7 drops of medication a day. I'm supposed to put in 10 because it's a 10 gallon tank. But I can't put the full dose in because I have Tetras, and they're only supposed to have half the dose. So I put in 7. Not the full dose but not enough to kill the tetras either.
But yeah, I've been doing that every day. The filter is completely detached from my tank. Been making sure to do a minor water change before I put in more medication also. Been feeding them. The water temperature is set to 81 degrees.
But nothing seems to be working. I dunno if it's just me, but all my cherry barbs aren't doing any better. In fact I think they're getting worse. My 2 platys that are still alive seem to be getting a LITTLE better but not much. I still see white spots on them and they will lay on the floor of the tank a lot still. Only ones that don't seem sick are my tetras.
Am I doing everything right? Or is my whole tank going to die?
