Is the Hurt Locker any good??

I think it's more a war film than character studies but the depth of the characters expresses the intensity and reality of war.

Hurt Locker is very much a different film, made completely different. It has a different pace to other war films and the soldiers aren't presented like soldiers you'd see in other films.

Hmm the acting is good, the actual film is a bit boring.

It was watchable but when it is over very forgetable.

I can see how the director was critically aclaimed as it is very dramatic but really kinda pish.

Don't know what all the fuss was about really.

TBH I thought it was more of a documentary than a movie. I enjoyed it but I can't help feeling it's being overhyped. Good, but not great.

I did buy it and i thought it was very good a lot different to what i thought it would be but in a good way very intense and very good film. IMO it should beat Avatar at the oscars but it just so happens to academy like sucsessfull films more

If you don't enjoy watching a gung ho American being a total cock all the way through a movie, putting himself and his team in danger in a totally unprofessional way they you may enjoy it.

More a string of set pieces than an actual movie. But as I say, ruined for me with the total "gung ho, I don't play by the rules" cock all the way through it.

The funny part was in the middle, with the US troops having troulbe shooting at a bunker, whislt the baddies with less weaponry picked the Americans off with pin point accuracy!

I had to laugh when at the samr distance and a delay of about 3 seconRAB we managed to hit a running baddie despite being unable to hit the window in a static bunker.
