Is the Holocaust the worst treatment of humans in our history?

Or has there been much much worse happenings in our past? Has this just been noticed as one of the worst mass-murder'ings ever simply because we are in the age of mass media.

Probably one of the worst but there have been several atrocities that are not given enough mention.

The genocide in Rwanda wasn't too long ago and that claimed at least 850,000 people in 100 days!

As you can see it existed before. The holocaust is a horror because it was industrialised mass murder, and the sheer number of people murdered in six years is staggering, but the idea of genocide is as old as the human race. Alas.
