A Harley is a good starter bike for a woman or someone small in stature because of the low seat height and modest performance. The problem is that you are so limited if you want to really learn to ride. You would do better to learn on a serious motorcycle, or series of bikes. Then, if you decide you want to settle for what a Harley can offer, go ahead, it's your money.
