For me the issue is one of how to address the police. I'm white and I know that rule number one is DON'T MOUTH OFF TO THE COPS. You just don't do it. It causes alot of problems. Cops and Border agents. Like it or not, you don't want to upset these folks.

Yes. Especially because the charges were dropped. Speaking of which, its NOT illegal in Massachusetts to be arrested for yelling at a police officer. This does not constitute "disorderly conduct" and Gates should have never been arrested.

They all want to talk about some "race issue"
But nobody wants to talk about common sense, or police procedures...those issues don't generate the ratings 'race' does.
