Is the Ford Fusion faster then the mazda 6?

I have both vehicles. both are a standard v6. although when i push it with my fusion it seems to have more power and seems to have a more powerful engine.. my mazda is quick too but it just doesnt seem to have the power of the fusion. they are both 06's.

No bias please..I just want to know if ford makes a stronger v6 or if there is no difference.
 
i do believe the 2006 Fusion is faster/more powerful due to a larger engine
 
The Ford has 221HP and 205 pounds of torque while the mazda 6 has 272HP and 269 pounds of torque.

Thus the Mazda 6 has much more power.

And no Ford does not always make the stronger engine, just because they are american common stereotype.
