is the ford focus a good car?

i need to get an economical car and i have been eying only asian cars
the new ford focus (2008-2010) is pretty good looking and very cheap.
should i go for this? or save my money on an asian car? ( such as toyota corolla, nissan sentra etc
 
i am a big car fan i have a focus and a few other cars i would say it is 1 of my favorite but if ur getting a new 1 i would get the st or rs as there more fun to drive and it is a known fact if ur looking for reliability look at japanise cars and ford are the most common and the cheapest to get parts for
 
Ignore anyone who says one car is reliable, versus another.

Reliability is determined by owner maintenance. NOT what brand it is, or what miles it has, etc.

Also, considering that Toyota, Nissan, Acura, Lexus, etc, all make cars in the US, how would you define them as "asian"?

Seeing as they're Japanese companies, and not "asian" anyway....
