It depends on the company you used, if you used a private bank, often times they send the check to you and you send the amount to the school. If you use the govt they will send it to the school and then send you the overpayment. Some schools require you to sign the check when they recieve it. So if it seems like fin aid hasnt paid your tution bill yet you might want to give them a call and check for it. Unfortuantly alot of schools are different so it majorily depends on the bank.
