Is the Express Clothing store good to get interview clothes?

I am a mom of twins, that is 5'9" tall, a size 6, and I weigh 145, with that said...my girls are 17 months old and I am going to be re-entering the work field. I am a single mom, so I need to get a good paying job to better care for my girls. I have been looking at a couple of places for affordable yet stylish work/interview clothes. I have checked out Banana Republic (WAY TOO MUCH MONEY), the Gap (Too casual for work), Express (Was about the same price as the Gap but more variety in clothes), The Limited (the style was a cross between the Gap and Express...the prices were closer to the Banana Store though), and lastly New York and Company (A nice store, but I am 5'9" which means all the tall sizes were fair game)....which of these stores in your personal opinion would be a good store to visit to build a nice professional wardrobe with some casual but nice clothes thrown in. I am also 30 years old and I don't want to end up looking like a teenager, yet I also don't want to look like my 62 year old mom. This will be my first time shopping for NORMAL/NON MATERNITY clothes since I first got pregnant back in July of 2007...hey I also have lost 90 pounds since giving birth too! I really want to get back out there so I can provide for my girls, but I also want to look pulled together. I used to have really good fashion sense...two years ago, but after having the kids I am wearing old maternity stuff, and sweats....gotta break the cycle! and I definantly don't fit into the pre-baby wardrobe. So any fashionistas out there that have shopped at some of these stores? Can you give me some feedback? My mom got me a mom gift certificate of $1000 so I can finally buy some clothes (it was also a birthday gift), so I need some advice that I cannot ask my mom or my 17 month old sweet baby girls. Thanks so much!
