Is the election of Barack Obama the definition of insanity?

The last UBER-LIBERAL we elected was Jimmy Carter and that didn't end so well...the only thing I am sure of is Obama isn't even as smart as Jimmy Carter...so that is why the destruction is happening a hundred times faster!!!! Obama is Carter's mentally challenged younger brother!

Bookish: So according to your argument, you would agree that GWB who had an MBA from YALE was one of our smartest Presidents right? I mean Obama's Law Degree doesn't impress me since he believes the 2nd Amendment IS NOT an individual right...WTF do they teach at Harvard? BTW...still waiting for Obama's transcripts....waiting....waiting He could have graduated at the BOTTOM of his class for all we know...I mean he was doing coke or heroine or whatever at the time.
 
Agreed -- CBO says his economic policies are bound to fail in the long run...you can't side-step forecasting.
 
If Bush wasn't such a psycho then there never would have been a President Obama. I do not blame him for every thing like the economy as the uneducated, non researching, media followers do, but this is definitely his fault.
 
Somewhat, But I would say it more hinges on moral decline of our culture, No college kid or teen is going to indulge on the Hollywood rot coming out of Hollywood and liberal propaganda their teaching them in schools and then go into a voting booth and pull a lever for a conservative Republican, We've lost the culture to moral decline. Actually, the last uber-liberal (as you see liberals anyway) we elected was Ronald Reagan.

For all of his talk about shrinking government, he came in number 3 on the biggest spenders list (right behind Richard Nixon at number 2 and George W. Bush at number 1). He raised taxes on everyone (except the top 1%) for the last 7 of his 8 years in office.




Unless you want to count George W. Bush. Bush also did a stimulus package, totaling $500 billion; but he did it for Iraq.

And while Iraq is a political nightmare, now being under the control of Iran (PM Nouri al Maliki is allied to Iran), it is a near economic powerhouse now. Iraq's economy is producing multi-billion dollar surpluses.

Obama is spending $787 billion for 300 million people; as compared to Bush's stimulus for Iraq, which totaled $500 billion for 12 million people. And that is not including the money we paid the various tribes to stop killing our soldiers. So Obama is spending here, spending less, and actually planning on covering his spending.

The last liberal to do that was Ronald Reagan, and I know how much you guys like that guy.
 
Just get ready for a loaf of bread costing $20 under the Obama administration.
 
It reminds me of an alcoholic trying to solve a problem by throwing more alcohol at it. After the hang over, the problem is still there only incrementally worse. This government is throwing money at the problem and after the dust settles, the things that caused the problem are still there only worse.

It is insane to keep repeating the same mistake and expect a different result. That is why it would have been nuts to vote for McCain -- the candidate that was similar to Bush.
 
No, if you don't think the 8 years of Bush was insanity then you don't know the meaning of the word. His was a schizophrenic Insanity and for periods of time we were actually a dictatorship as he had taken the 1st and 4th Amendments away, among others, and the great writ of habeas corpus!

Obama is mentally challenged? Obama even taught law at one of the top 10 universities in the United States! Bush barely graduated, being drunk, his words, most of his 4 years at Yale! Now we know you are not in the here and now!

Did you ever really pay ANY attention to what Bush was doing?
 
The destruction you speak of is happening so fast because you mis judge Obama, he is smart and he has the ability to act quickly. He must bring about change and his change before the next elections in the House and Senate- and he will do so with or without the approval of the people. ie Executive orders and just plan do what he wants...kind of reminds me of Venezuela's Chavez
