Is the EGR valve the same on a Ford 302/5.0L engine and a Ford 300/4.9L 6cyl engine?

I'm thinking of purchasing a used 1989 F-150 - it needs an EGR valve. Someone's parting out a 302 F-150 and I'm wondering if the EGR valve from the 302 will fit a 300 6 cyl.
