I'm looking to buy my first car, and I'm deciding between a 2006 Mazda 3 and a 2007 Dodge Caliber.
I know that the Mazda 3 is an overall good car, but it doesn't catch my attention like the Caliber does.
I've been reading a lot of mixed reviews about this car.. people have been saying that it's cheap, unreliable, and has given them a lot of problems. People I've talked to say not to get it because it's made by Dodge, and is based upon the Neon model... also, they said the automatic transmission isn't that great. I love the look of the Caliber, and I've looked through enough pictures and videos to know I can see it as my first car. However, I want to buy a car that is reliable and won't have me spending a lot to keep repairing it.. Like I said, people have raved about the Mazda 3 over this car, but I can't decide between the two.
