rationality and morons.? You can't really debate stupidity, because they wont recognise a superior argument. Is a better approach to say, "that's nice dear, you keep believing in big sky god" while we remove sharp objects from their surroundings along with things they might accidentally swallow?
an evolutionist is what you write when you don't have enough space to write somebody who accepts evolutionary theory
 
There really is no actual debate. The religious nuts want you to think there is - but the fact is that religious types have nothing to debate with - they have no actual facts or science or findings or data or anything - just some vague ideas out of a very old book.
 
No, it's not a better approach to pat them on the head and tell them it's OK. It may be too late for some of the adults, but we must see to it that every child learns how to reason, think logically, study the facts and evidence, and make informed choices. Otherwise, this poor old world is in for a huge amount of pain.
