Is the court of appeal bound by decisions of the house of lords in terms of precedent?

Or would it now be the supreme court (after becoming the highest court of appeal). In regards to precedent who does the court of appeal follow...
Any recommended reading would be great!!
Thank you
Just to clarify I know before 2009 it would have been but then the supreme court became the highest court of appeal. So in regards to precedent, does it matter at all? Would the court of appeal still make decisions following cases of the house of lords
Or has it changed to the supreme court now?

Supreme court, although in some cases if a judge is obliged by the circumstances in the case, or feels the supreme court made an huge error, the judge is free to rule against precedent, which would then probably be appealed by the damned party, but sometimes isn't, and the ruling stands as new precedent.
