The above is correct, and I would only add that the decompression "valve" is the only troublesome piece on the bike. It is there because the bike would be difficult to start without it. Many owners neglect adjusting this cable related valve and then wonder why their bike will crank but not start.
The bike is a fun little bike-low, narrow and capable of sustained travel, if however uncomfortable it may be-many women riders choose it as their first bike. And while it is fine around town, hour after hour at 75 mph it gets to be a real drag on long distance trips.
Reliable, fun, and a great starter bike. Low maintenance as it has a belt drive, it needs only have its oil, filters and routine adjustments to be a wonderful machine
