Is the Blackberry 8900 worth the price outright?

I received a coupon yesterday from tmo letting me turn my curve in after purchase and then giving me 100 for the curve. Haven't read the small print yet but it certainly caught my attention. 100 off a 8900 would be nice.

I bought my device outright because I had too when I was working for Rogers, and honestly in my opinion, it's definitely worth it. It's the best BlackBerry I've ever used and I'm extremely happy with it. Would I buy out right again?

Yes.

Make sure you talk to a person. Don't upgrade through the website. The website said it would be $430 my for the upgrade. Be nice. It helps.

any tips n tricks on how to get it as cheap as possible if i want to switch my AT&T line to tmobile for the 8900?

im trying to get it...like, yesterday.lol

my friend has it, and it looks INCREDIBLE! best blackberry i seen yet (besides the storm). i cant wait for AT&T to get the Storm (if it ever gets it) so i wanna jump ship to tmobile since so many ppl i know have it

any info would be great!

I did the early upgrade and got mine for $420 plus tax from a local T-Mo store. I'm happy with the decision overall- great phone!

Well if ur in the financial situation to do so....by all means go for it...but me personally I wouldn't buy ANY phone full price...so many ways to get around this problem. Got my curve 8320 for free early on. Just have to shop and bargain.

And there's always this phone fad that eventually ur always going to want the newer phone...if u can stick it out or keep posted to up and coming smartphones.....u never know there could be an awsome phone 10x better than the 8900 by time ur upgrade is avail. And like always the promo is usually no more than 150 ish and sometimes lower. Then you'll be thinking 'd*** I just paid 500 for this'

Love my 8900, granted it was free. Its a big improvment from my 8220flip (also free) Its funny when I went to flip I missed full keyboard but now I kinda miss multi tap.but I go off your point. I work in wireless, love my gadgets and I don't believe anyone should ever. Buy a phone at full price other than to be contract free or if its a phone not carried by your provider and it has a feature that no ther phone ur provider carries
