Is the ankh of the Egyptian culture accepted by Christians?

I am considering getting a tattoo of an ankh with subtle wings to represent a guardian angel as a symbol of my dad. I think the ankh looks better than a cross because the design with the wings makes it look like an angel too. I know that tattoos are looked down upon by some Christians but getting this tattoo is really important to me and will be accepted by the people I know. I am curious if the ankh will be ok though?
 
The ankh is the Egyptian symbol of life by reincarnation which they called their rebirth. They worship the Sun gods Ra, Osiris and Horus, and the goddess Isis to name a few.
