is the alcohol cooked out?

my mom made me this traditional recipe that has rice and wine in it. im breastfeeding and im worried that the alcohol is still in there. i know she cooks it but im not sure how long.

it smells and taste and wine still.
i meant, it smells and taste like wine still
 
It's fine, even if there is still a little alcohol in it. So little of the alcohol that you consume actually makes it into the milk. In fact, my doctor told me it was OK to consume as much as two alcoholic drinks per day while breastfeeding (I never do). Just try to consume any alcohol right after nursing that it will be several hours until you nurse again and the alcohol will have time to move through your bloodstream.
