I want to switch to nextel and get the plan that has free incoming calls. I have t-mobile with 3000min for $49.99 and every month around the 15th i have to stop using the phone ass much so i want run out of min. Will this plan be good for me? Also i want to get the i860 phone.

Well, how may outgoing minutes do you use per month? With that info you would be able to know which free incoming Nextel plan fits your needs(300, 500, 800 or 1000 outgoing min). Now, if you start calling people then asking them to call you back each time, might help.

i ahve myself the free incoming 300 and i like it. i dont ever go over my minutes, and if im close, i call someone and tell them to call me right back, so its free....

well it doesnt say on my tmobile bill, i gave them a call and they said theres no way to find out. I really dont know what do now, i dont want to sign a 2 year contract with nextel and then fine out that i am going over my minmute or the service is not good. I also herd that even if i call someone and tell them to call me back it still counts as 1min. Also is Nextel service good?

Nextel nights start at 9pm on the National Free Incoming 300 plan, and all Nextels plans. You can now get them to start at 7pm, an extra 2 hours, but in my opnion it's not worth what they charge you for it. I think it's an extra $5 or $10, not sure. Ask around. Someone else might know if you're interested.

I too have the "National Free Incoming 300" plan. I like it. It's all about outgoing minutes, I agree. I know it's rare that I will ever reach my 300 min. outgoing limit, that's why I got it. I use more of the free incoming and nights and weekends minutes myself.

So if you can guage in any way how many outgoing minutes you have used before, or would use. I don't know if you can tell that from your T-mobile billing statements. But once you know that, go from there in choosing the 300, 500, 800, or 1000 outgoing plans.

Be sure that you by an I860 made after about sep. 2005 the earlier ones were bad about cracking around the inside earpeice. Also ive had nextel for about 8 years its the best ive ever had.

well as far as i know they have discontinued the i860. they arent on the web site any more nor have i seen them at any local nextel stores....
