Chrysler involved? I have an '09 Lancer and i was just wondering if Chrysler helped with the development and/or manufacturing of this car, or if Mitsu did it by themselves.
Back in the early 1960's, Dodge (owned by Chrysler) had a Lancer automobile, predecessor to the Valiant. Mitsubishi would have had to license the name from Chrysler to avoid copyright issues if it weren't for one thing: Chrysler owns 38% of Mitsubishi and has since the end of World War II.
