Is the 2003 Pontiac Vibe a Good first car for a male?

I am a 16 male about to start driving in september and i am looking a a 03' poniac vibe (its red). Is this a good first car for me and so why? thanks you all

It's certainly a better choice than a Pontiac Sunfire which is a total chick car. Seriously.

Hmmm, well I have a '06 Toyota Matrix which is identical to the Vibe aside from cosmetic body differences. I love it! Of course I'm a girl, but it's still a great car. I've put 79,000 miles on it and have never had so much as a check engine light.
