Is the 1997 Mazda 626 A Good Car?

I'm thinking about buying one. It's a nice looking car. It's a metallic blue color with leather interior. It also has a sun roof. My mom's friend is putting a new engine in it so it should run just like new. If there is anyone out there who has one please tell me why this car is worth buying or why it isn't.
 
Never, ever, EVER buy a 1997 Mazda 626 (unless you buy mine from me). I have just read way too many posts about how this is the worst car ever, and it is sad to me how Mazda does not recall these pieces of junk. I SAY, NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER BUY A MAZDA!!
