Is the 1994 Honda Prelude 2.2L SOHC the same as a pre lude? Or does it have

anything to do with the DOHC? HELP I have a 1994 Honda Prelude that says 2.2L SOHC on all papers but some say "VTEC" in parenthasis. I dont know if it is Vtec or if it has anything to do with DOHC. Is this any more powerful or better in any way?
