ive never heard changing oil types will cause it to break down quicker? as long as its changed every 3,000 miles that engine shouldnt have any trouble... my car is a 97 and ive sampled different oils throughout its life and its still going strong... closing in on 200,000 miles!! and i would look into schaeffer oil..
