Is sugar in fruit okay for you?can you eat as much fruit a day as you want?

im just wondering because i absolutely love fruit and its low cal
so i eat a lot of fruit everyday
so im jw if the sugar is gonna backfire on my diet and cause me to gain weight
 
It shouldn't, but you really shouldn't eat too much fruit if you are trying to lose weight. If you're just maintaining weight then you should be ok. The fiber in fresh fruits will help balance out the carbs I think.
 
Too much of anything is bad, but fruit is of course a better alternative as opposed to junk food. It depends how much fruit you're exactly talking about, you need more in your diet than just fruit. If your eating it just as a snack then I would say go ahead!!!
Some fruits just like other foods are higher in calories & sugar, but the safest bet is eating berries like blueberries, strawberries, & cranberries.
Bananas are the most fattening FYI
