You can get tested for free at certain clinics. Even if you do end up somewhere not free, it still isn't too expensive. The place I went to does their pay by a scale, depending on how much you make a year. It isn't very much. If you test for HIV and want the rapid test done (results in 20 minutes or so), it's like an additional $35. It was for me anyway, but I didn't mind. As long as the worrying was over. =)
