Is Spiceworld the movie the best British movie ever made?

I think its certainly in the top 3. Its mix of excellent soundtrack, all star cast, horror and suspense in the haunted hotel, comedy, action, the sad parts when they nearly split up, the on the edge of your seat moments when the tour bus was about to fly over London bridge, then it had that famous toung in cheek special effect.

Never mind the Spice Girls were the most successful artists of the 1990's, this movie beats all other British made movies hanRAB down.

If you view it as the piss take it was intended as then yeah its a great film. Some very funny scenes are in it.

I watched this on youtube recently having been a big fan when I was younger

Its actually NOT BAD

Entertained me for an hour and a half

I enjoyed it more having watched it as an adult than I did as a kid.

Some of the scenes are really funny and it (and the girls) just take the piss out of themselves the whole time - it's a cult classic!!

It got to No.1 in the UK Box Office, but I was more surprised to learn that it actually got to No.2 in the US - beaten by Titanic, which is nothing to be ashamed of!!

The carry on collection is okay, bit dated now though. The others are far too violent and rely on swearing and violence, they give Britain a bad image
