Is scion as reliable of a car as toyota is?

It's obviously known that scion is a child company of toyota or something like it. But would you say that a scion is as reliable and long lasting as a toyota car? Or would you be better of getting a toyota/honda?
 
They are just as reliable, but they do not have the biggest engines. I'm pretty sure that all of them have 4 cylinders. That means that the car probably wouldn't last as long as a 6 cylinder, but yes it's as reliable as a 4 cylinder Toyota. What really makes a car reliable though, is a person that puts in the required maintenance.
