Hi,

Much of the time I am seating at the computer, and usually I don't do
physical exercises, but in average 3 times in a week I go for running(about
1 Kilometer). recently someone told me that if it is nor systematically, than
it can be dangerous fot heart.
Is running really can be dangerous if it is not periodically?

Thanks Rafayel

I say this with the assumption that you consider yourself in good health.... I would be hard pressed to say running is dangerous however it is done. If you are in bad physical condition or if you try to run ten miles, fast for your first ever run....then it might be "dangerous".

It's best to start slowly...do twenty minutes at a comfortable pace. The rule of thumb is...you should be able to talk while running. If you can't, then you are running too hard, if you can talk with ease, then push yourself a bit harder. Increase that by 5-10 mins a week if you want. Make sure you invest in GOOD running shoes. Don't buy them at Walmart. Go to a local running store (call a local running club if you don't know of any) and pick out shoes with an expert. They should let you try the shoes...watch you run a bit in them...and see if your gait is correct. I can not emphasis how important proper shoes are.

Good luck and keep exercising...even if it's only a few times a week.
