Is Rockford Fosgate ro Alpine speakers better for sound, bass and clarity overall?

I was looking at the type r alpines which don't seem bad and a set of Rockford Fosgates and I can't decide which one is better, Ill pay up to $150 for a pair of speakers. Just wanna get the best. Think i'm gonna stick with my clarion head unit for em. Thank you
I'm looking for just speakers, not subs at the moment. (forgot to mention this)
