Is quick cooking oatmeal as healthy as regular oatmeal? I want to use quick oatmeal, because it cooks fast, but am not sure if it's as healthy as regular oatmeal. I was wondering if "quick cooking oatmeal" has undergone some chemical process or been precooked somehow?

Or is it simply finely grained which makes it faster to cook?

If it's labelled as 100% rolled oats you good either way..

The difference is regular quick oatmeal has a far more empty calories due to using refined sugars and chemicals etc for flavouring...

Any fitness site or body building site will tell you to suck it up and buy your own plain 100% rolled oats..

Add a bit of honey and you have all the power of fibre and protein of oats with all the anti-oxidant and anti-microbial benefits of honey.

Plus it's a sweetener your body doesn't have to process like white sugar.

The Bees did it for you.

enjoy
